{glad Monday’s almost over}

Today’s been a real MONDAY. Blech. Just busy and a little hectic. Highlights of the day:

– sleeping in a little
– meeting Josh for a spur of the moment lunch date at Subway
– speed scrapping tonight
– scrapping and working with the Red Sox game on TV to listen to
– crossing off everything on my to do list for today

So, yeah, I was at the Speed Scrap tonight over at ScrapMatters. It was a lot of fun!  Andrea (chia) had awesome steps, and I came out with a layout I really like.

I know I said it before, but I feel so lucky and blessed to have been able to be there the day Addie was born. Morgan and I are the only girl cousins on my dad’s side and we were always really close. We were more like sisters than cousins. I feel like her girls are my nieces for sure. I’m so happy I’ve been there for both of their births!!

I’m hosting “My Story Matters” challenge that started while I was out of town. I couldn’t get my page done for it before I left, but I finally got it done tonight! The challenge was to scrap about a hobbie or sport you were into when you were young. I scrapped about dance!

And one last layout. This one is for the new “Everyday Magic” challenge that started today at SM! The challenge is to scrap about one of your rituals. A weekly, daily, monthly ritual. Mine is our weekly ritual of watching America’s Funniest Videos together as a family after Sunday dinner.
