Hey look! I scrapped. It’s been a while, but I had to post a new “My Story Matters” challenge at SM yesterday, so I had to make some time to scrap.
I hope lots of you will come scrap this challenge with me. I’m pretty sure we’re only about 6 weeks away from finishing this “My Story Matters” challenge series. No one is doing them anymore (I had zero participation in December – sad huh?), but I’m determined to finish the series for my own personal book!! Even if not one person enters.
A couple more things. I’m SO EXCITED to say that I’m going to be SPEED SCRAPPING on Wednesday night (with host Jami)! I haven’t done a Speed Scrap in forever. And I can’t wait to join in once again. I hope to see LOTS OF YOU there too.
And last but not least – I wanted to share a few photos from my New Year’s Eve celebration! My brother and sister in law invited us over to their house and we had a nice quiet evening playing games, eating snacks and then watching fireworks from the valley below out their window! It was quite a nice view from their place. Then we stayed VERY LATE playing Banangrams. We were all hooked. We couldn’t stop playing. It was such a fun, casual, relaxing New Year’s Eve. Just how I like it.

I'm so sad to hear that no one participated in My Story Matters challenge last month. I love that challenge! Maybe it was because December was such a busy month. I'll have to go look at the challenge this week and see if I can get a layout done. Your layout about Lagoon is really cool. It brought back a lot of memories to me about going there and getting pictures taken.

Aww, that's sad that there's only 6 weeks left for the My Story Matters challenge! I really love them, I always try to do them, unless it's just a subject that works for me (like the Dec one.) I never went anywhere when I was in HS, lol, but I'm still trying to think of something I can do for that challenge. Sometime I need to go back and do the older challenges, since I found a ton of pics from my childhood after the challenges started!
I have been MIA at Scrapmatters for SUCH a long time & a speed scrap sounds SOOOO tempting. Dare I? Also, I love the western Lagoon pics. I have a few that could be a fun subject to scrap & you have just lit my inspiration a'blaze! hehe

I love the my story matters challenges. I just wasn't up for it in Nov or Dec. Plus my early years were not so happy and coming up with something to scrap about that wasn't a nightmare was hard. I couldn't think of one night thing to say. But I'll make it a point to do it this month!
