{new look}

My last blog design was lack-luster. So I simplified and modified. What do you think? Too boring? I kind of like it.

Ashley challenged her readers to take a photo of what’s out your front door, and what’s out your back door. Well, I don’t have a back door, but I did my best!!

This is what is out my front door:

I know, right?!  I’m so lucky. I love living at the foot of the Rockies. (Try and ignore the orange construction signs – I did my best to crop out all the ugly construction that’s going on around my house right now. You can see what I’m talking about here.)

And This is what’s out my “back door“:

My adorable back yard.  I can’t take a lick of credit for the yard work.  Our wonderful landlord handles it.  I tried to catch a little of our awning in the shot. It’s a totally retro scalloped trim that goes all around the carport and patio.  It’s kinda funky and dated, but I love it!

    Wow, I love the new look, and the view from your house is stunning! When we went on our honeymoon we had views like this when we woke up (we went to the South Island of NZ), and we seriously considered moving, just to have that view!
